Why make something new when something brilliant already exists?
Our Upcycled Collection takes carefully selected pre-loved clothing and gives it another chapter. We hunt down pieces we think deserve saving, bring them back to the Etch & Ember workshop, and transform them with our own embroidery designs.
The result? Something you won't find hanging on every other rail.
Every upcycled garment is a genuine 1 of 1. Different brands, colours, fits and styles come through the workshop, and we work with what we find rather than trying to recreate the same piece over and over again.
When it sells, it's gone.
No restocks. No second batch. No "I'll come back for it next week." Someone else might be wearing it by then.
The Imperfectly Perfect Ones
This collection is also home to the occasional Etch & Ember piece that didn't quite pass our usual quality checks.
Maybe the embroidery isn't sitting quite where we'd like it. Perhaps there's a tiny cosmetic mark, a slightly wonky stitch or another minor imperfection that means we wouldn't be happy selling it at full price.
But there's a big difference between not perfect and not good.
If a piece is still perfectly wearable and far too good to throw away, you'll find it here instead — clearly described, photographed and offered at a reduced price.
We'd much rather give a perfectly good garment a home than send it to waste because of something small.
Whether it's pre-loved and reworked or one of our own slightly imperfect creations, these pieces are all about giving good clothing another chance.
